Low Poly Frog
This is a personal project where the goal is to learn Blender to become a more rounded modeller and Animator.
Goals
I have been wanting to make a low poly style animal for a long time now and i thought it would be an excellent opportunity to learn Blender! Blender is slowly becoming more popular as a modelling tool as it is open source and quite powerful but it can also be used for much more than modelling.

Learnings and Outcomes
Being taught Maya in school has been both a blessing and a curse when it comes to blender. Maya and Blender function in almost the exact same way in a Modelling work flow but the menus are vastly different. Many of Blender's menus are context dependent as it can be used to accomplished more than just modelling.

I started out from a simple cube and subdivided it until i was satisfied with the amount of faces made.
I then stretched out the cube to form the rough shape of a frog.

The hardest part of this project was getting a UV of the frog and texture painting onto it. It's wildly different from Maya and it took me a while to figure out despite how simple the frog is.
