Mocap Animation
This is for a project that I did for an animation class where we had to tell a story using motion capture data attached to a model we rigged using a combination of Motion Builder, Maya, and Data from Mixamo

GOALS
The goal of this project was learning how to attach motion capture to a model in order to make a short story.
Learnings
First I had to grab data from Mixamo and then insert the files into Motion Builder. Motion Builder was used to attach the data to the skeleton of a model I had rigged earlier in the course in order to form clips of animations that i could later string together as an animation i could bake onto the skeleton so i can export it to Maya as an FBX file.
Maya was then used to import the FBX containing the Character and the animation so I could build a scene around it with simple 3D Models.
Outcomes
This is where i learn that i was really starting to enjoy animation. Working with motion capture data was extremely fun and it's really cool to work with.
